.I didn't have a heart attack or really anything that I considered to hugely affect my day to day life, I'd always checked my cholesterol levels and they had been ok, so it was a surprise to me, when after my blood pressure had started to rise and they did an angiogram it showed my LAD was completely blocked.

Fast forward 6 months and now I'm now recovering from an Endoscopic Atraumatic Coronary Artery Bypass, an off-pump procedure that didn't, as is normal with CABG, need a cracked sternum, in fact it was what seems to be a relatively simple operation, that now finds me at home, convalescing after only 5 days in the hospital.

Has anyone else undergone this particular procedure? How did you find the recovery process.?

My only after effects seem to be diarrhea caused by the Clopidogrel!!

Thanks.
