Hiya. I was put on Entresto 3 months ago and, with the exception of a bit of an annoying dry cough for few weeks, i felt no other adverse effects at all. I know we are all different but hopefully you are ok on it.

I have been on the maximum dose (plus a pacemaker) for a couple of years with no problems bar a slight cough, and my EF improved from 20% to 60%. If you can tolerate it, Entresto can be very effective.

Greetings,

I’ve been on Entresto for 6 months ….. one in morning and one at night. Absolutely no probs. Also on Dapaglflosin, Bisoprolol, Atorvastatin and Spironolactone …… all pretty well uneventful with one exception …… Bisoprolol lowers BP to around 95/60 so some dizziness at times.

After AV Node ablation 2 days ago, EP has now lowered Bisoprolol to 1.25mg and touch wood, no dizziness (yet!!!!)

Good luck.

Hello it seems to be the one heart medicine where people on the whole don't suffer too many sources effects and if r they do they are relatively mild. I have been on them for 8 months after an AVR and take it twice daily with the stronger dose in the morning. We are all different but I hope you will be fine. It seems to be a bit of a wonder drug.

I've been on it for a month and a half and I eat alot of sweet potatoes and bananas, no problems at all for Me. I believe if your kidneys are good there shouldn't be a high potassium problem. I definitely wouldnt overdo it though.

so pleased your ok with it 🤞I’m the same Have just taken my first one and the cardiologist told me I must drink 2 1/2 L of fluid a day so I presume that’s to help our kidneys

Greetings,

hi, I’ve just noticed this post so I don’t know if it’s been on for a long time or not?

I’ve been on Entresto for a long while while ….. one in morning and one at night for sometime, I’ve had double vision epusodesover a long period. As these have been brief episodes (which I’ve logged with my consultant), they have been tweaking my drugs. Mainly lowering of.Bisoprolol and Entresto (49/51). I am fitted with a CRT-D.

Recently I’ve been having bouts of dizziness which have been distressing. I am due to discuss this with my consultant soon.I also take. Dapaglflosin, Atorvastatin and Spironolactone. It’s been a busy year with, endoscopy , cardioversion (due to AF) and triple hernia.op.

I’m guessing this may be having an effects and causing the dizziness, but I’ll wait for my review and definitely post any further advice.

Best wishes

Hello Summerplace,

I have been on the 103/97 strength of 1 tablet at morning and 1 at night since about 2017 while it was still not on the government supported drug scheme here in Australia. I was one of 20 allowed through my cardiologist, which was a kind of introduction while others in need had to wait until it was available under the PBS. Myself and many others according to my specialist have had improvement of about 20% in LV ejection fraction that was achieved over about a year. It has plateaued and thankfully stayed that way. I had increased energy so as to take a holiday after about a year and start to attend activities with my daughter (to watch only) after school. Without Entresto (I was on something else at the beginning) this was not possible.

Improvement, changes etc will depend on your own situation according to your onw personal health situation.

Regular blood tests are all good with respect to liver function etc and I have been on the same drugs and same dose since diagnosed with DCM in 2016. I have an annual review with stress test, ultrasound and other fancy tests (cant remember the name).

Speak with your cardiologist or GP if anything unusual comes up for you. I am also taking spiractin, lasix and bicor.

I hope this helps.

Best wishes
