Entresto lowest dose

I was started on the middle dose for the last month. Today my kidney numbers were down and I was put in the lower dose. Has this happened to anyone? And does the lower dose demonstrate improvement in symptoms and/or ejection fraction? Thank you in advance for your feedback.

I was started on lower dose (with other meds), which resulted in significant improvement of EF and noticeable reduction in breathlessness and palpitations. Now on middle dose with blood test ok.

Hi. Do you feel any better on the middle dose? All the best!

Yes. I actually seen significant improvements to my EF rate from as low as 13% up to 40% and that was on the low dose. It did improve to 44% but since being on the middle dose, it has lowered a little. My bloods were ok for the first couple years but i have been on middle dose some time and do get sides, low back pain and groggy feeling. anxiety.

Well the side effects seem to have calmed down quite some. I do feel better overall but things have slowed down. Heart rate 60, breathing seems slower. But heart seems to be beating regular with less ectopics. Still have episodes but not as much. Tiredness is a problem....ill find out what ef rate is next month.

I honestly dont know of entresto has worked as the timing with the cardioversion shown the most improvements. My heart failure was fast over a short period of time, in my 30s and possibly down to misuse of a viagra herb funnily enough! So the rebound was pretty fast. EF went from 12% up to 30-45% within a year. Cardioversion was done to reset afib and entresto was introduced.

Hi. I actually had the MOST improvement on the lowest dose,. My ev went from 12% up to 44% over the space of 18 months. This of course could have been just a natural rebound effect from my terrible state I was in. But I did notice improvements straight away, within a week actually! Circulation improved in my hands and feet and things got better slowly.

Once i went up to middle dose i started suffering sides and it took nearly 2 years to adjust to middle dose. The brain fog it gave me was awful. Tiredness. etc. It did subside but unfortunately heart ef has gone down to 35%.

all the best
