Back in April I had a kidney removed (cancer) whilst in hospital I had a heart attack, I waiting an ambulance for a Nuclear Scan of my heart, can’t have contrast medium as my kidney will have a problem, has anyone had this type of scan and what does it involve. Tiaras

Like you I can't have the contrast, I had a nuclear scan about a month or so ago on my lungs, so the process may be a bit different.I had to breathe in some minute radio active particles, then I was scanned, whilst still on the scanner I was given an injection and scanned again.

All really easy, no lasting effects.

Good luck with everything x
