Hi Kristin. I believe that what Michael said was correct. I.e. the OP (in the thread where he expressed concern about a nuclear scan) won’t glow green in the dark. 🤢

Oh dear I cannot go away for five minutes! I was up for an early outpatient appointment and some additional checks! (Lost 1.4 kilo since last week - different clinic but same scales). I find I and my team have created a degree of confusion! Yesterday Yasyass was concerned about a forthcoming nuclear scan and I replied to reassure her. Both I and A. N. Other mentioned she would not glow in the dark afterwards. This post was a light hearted joke depicting radioactive urine. Apologies for any confusion, concern or consternation caused!

I will not do it again - well not till next time.

Nuclear medicine is a vast area and outside the scope of a post. The most likely way is hearties will encounter it is via a nuclear stress test that I described here in my initial response to @Yasyass :

In addition to heart and lung problems many other issues such as brain, thyroid and cancers can be diagnosed. Different isotopes may be used. Many cancers are also treated by irradiation.
