I’ve got a scheduled telecon with a consultant a year post Nstemi and quadruple CABG.
Been doing well after change of statin. Anything I should mention regarding future check ups or anything else ? I’m still pretty sore on my sternum/chest after hard work , will mention that … will ask about my meds , 1.25mg bisoprolol and half a 1.25mg ramipril, low doses and wonder if it’s worth trying to come off .. just to see if I feel any different really ..
How often should we be checked for ECG/EKG EF , cholesterol, blood sugars etc ..
let me know if I’m missing anything .
Made myself laugh with this Snapchat filter 🤦🏼🤣
Feel so much better 🤣🤣🤣

dwizza you have been an inspiration to me with your support, I’m glad your in a good place with your journey. If I was at your stage I suppose I’d ask if any more scans would be done to check the new plumbing is still working as it should. Through my own research veins have a higher percentage of thrombosis over time. Which if caught early enough can be stented to keep open. I believe the ct scan with contrast would be enough to see narrowing. I’d just want to know if this would an option or even a check I could get done privately if nhs doesn’t continue this sort of future care plan. Stay healthy
Di, that’s very kind of you and thank you for that top bit of advice re veins 👍🏻 I will add it to my list tonight . Keeping the plumbing clear is the priority , I’m hoping my low dose (10mg) statin continues to work and give acceptable stats 👍🏻❤️
