Hi All,Hope all are ticking along well.

Was wondering if anyone has been suffering with tinnitus post PM or if its increased post PM. I seem to be suffering from it at present and it's very disturbing.

Be interesting to see how many of us are having this issue.

Thankyou.

hi

what medication are you on?

I had tinnitus before my HAttack. But it’s 10 times worse now. Especially in quiet spaces or trying to sleep.

Yes quite spaces is horrendous 😫

I'm currently on Verapamil, Edoxaban and Flecanaide. Not sure if any of those are making it more heightened.

Sorry to read yours has gotten worse too.

I presume your on meds to? I developed it after starting quinidine - may be listed on your side effects leaflets in your med box?

Yes quite a cocktail of drugs unfortunately 😕 I've read through the side effects and none seem to list tinnitus. Need to speak to GP and have an appt in 2 weeks time so let's see.

I have it too, but I think it's related to my hypothyroidism and not my pacemaker. I am not on any heart meds.

Interesting maybe mine linked to my pther illnesses or stress/anxiety even.

Hi Marvel3000, I've had tinnitus for years, I have one hearing aid and when I have it in my ear the tinnitus disappears in that ear. I joined the tinnitus forum on here, but after about a week I removed myself because when you are talking about it, it gets worse. It's a difficult forum to be a member of. I don't have a pacemaker but take lots of meds which have had no effect on my tinnitus. Take care.

Thank you for this reply. I hadn't considered hearing aid's as like you I've looked at the meds and none seem to mention tinnitus. To be honest with the heart issues still ongoing I'm sure my G.P will just tell me ignore it Lol Bigger fish to fry he will say 😂
