Inclisiran is very, very expensive. What is your cholesterol levels and HbA1c? There is evidence that some statins may raise BG in some people, and where someone is en route (not making lifestyle changes) Type II it will arrive six to nine months earlier

Have lost weight, changed diet , take regular exercise, cardiologist said it will help but realistically will not make difference, on simvastatin 40 percent of people on simvastatin become diabetic

Where did you pluck that figure from? Before I started statins and an ACE I was pre-diobetic, had raised cholesterol and was overweight. Now my BMI is in the normal range as are my HbA1c and BP. The risk of diabetes also increases with age. If I remember correctly MichaelJH posted 1 in 3 80 yrs old were diabetic! As I was pre-diabetic I imagine I will be Type II at some stage - you can run but you can't hide!

There are rules and guidelines for the prescribing of any medication as defined by NICE and intended for use by the NHS, and lipid management medication is included. Your health professionals are required to work within them. There is an NHS statin intolerance pathway which should be used by health professionals linked below which you may find useful and that covers some options which may answer your question

And the NICE guidelines which cover Inclisiran are here
