this question comes up regularly here. Within Health Unlocked we cannot recommend specifics but you can see the BHF take on their website. Insurers treat applicants as individuals and each case differs, so what’s right for me won’t be right for you necessarily.
We are all different with different requirements, especially if you have pre existing health conditions, so I suggest you read this, which will help you find the best fit for you.
If you search on here for insurance, lots of answers will come up. It also depends on where you are going. Please also look at GHIC, (Global Health Insurance Card) you may not need insurance. But the GHIC doesn't cover repatriation or expenses incurred for additional time spent abroad.
Hi Andrew, this question appears regularly on this site, so I am sure that you will find the help you need. I had a problem after being diagnosed as having Angina. After a protracted episode with Staysure, they refused to insure me. I then tried other insurers who advertise that they look after people with medical problems, however the premiums were astronomical. One company wanted over £4,000, so I asked our bank Nationwide if they could insure me. After the usual medical questions, they agreed, it cost me £ 240 upfront and then £13/month. As I said at the start you will get many answers thgat are sure to help you.

I was using staysure multi trip for 2 years but after going on a comparison site I found admiral was cheaper. Try comparison sites
Asia insured my cruise to Norway about 2 months after heart failure about £288 for the two of us for 7 days
who are Asia please?
I've just gone with All Clear. Cruise insurance with no excess. Spain and Portugal. Unstable angina, stents, thyroid problems and arthritis. £220. Also I'm 70.
