a many thanks for all your kind replies. I had call from my cardiologist to say my monitor was showing incorrect time by 2 hours so when it showed recordings afer I had taj=ken it off I was still wearing it in the morning showing 7 second pause.
I have been listed for an urgent pacemaker which should now be towards the end of March.
Take care everyone

I'm very pleased this was being dealt with promptly and I hope the pacemaker makes a big difference for you.
I had a 6-second pause diagnosed by 24-hour holter ECG last Feb. Let's just say the th eNUHS in Gwent is not at its best, and while my result was flagged as urgent I didn't have a pacemaker op scheduled until late August - and that was olny beause I paid for private 7-day ECG testing (the NHS was quoting me Sept or testing on their urgent list). In the end I had the op as an emergency a couple of weeks early because they weren't confident I'd be still around for the scheduled date.
I am surprised and sorry to hear that you would have waited that long but them ended up having an emergency op. Hope that are feeling better and coping with the pacemaker now ?
I know the NHS waiting list are very long. I was informed I went on the List as urgent on 30th January, but not received a date cold be the end on March.
The system is broken. My GP said that pre-Covid the idea of a pacemaker list didn't really exist in my region. If they decided you needed one, they would do one almost immediately, or schedule one within a few weeks.
Glad that the cardiologist discovered the time difference on the monitor results , I was having pauses too , I e had my dual chamber pacemaker just over three years . I highly recommend a vshape pillow for after the procedure , also button up pjs and tops in the early weeks , found much easier .
