Dear You

Oh the horror of anxiety has reared its ugly head once more with you and with its powers has distorted the meanings of a few { not very well placed } words.

None of what you have written about in your post indicates that there is a problem looming, in fact far from it.

Your bloods are acceptable { I presume this is from your Dr } which means that your results fall into a band that is acceptable for a woman of your age/medication taking and health situation.

Your results came back faster than most for your Holter monitoring , again they would have said if the results needed further investigations because that is what the monitor results will call for if needed, no-one { as far as I know } are just diagnosed on its readings, its just a step in their vast arsenal of tests.

I know your main concerns are with your Heart and yet anxiety rules everyone of your posts, why don't you post on the anxiety forum as well and maybe get other sufferers views on how they manage their illnesses with anxiety hanging over them.

Take care, if I could take your worry away from you I would, but I can't even do that for my dear sister who is a life time sufferer of it.

This site and all the lovely people on it has have been so kind and supportive in the last year. My OH half says i worry over worrying and no one else I can talk to going to Mental Health in May will have a word with them. Just being silly I know just hard to get past it.

Please try and keep calm and not worry as your aniexty will only make you feel worse. Cardiology Units are under pressure post-covid.

I had my 48hr monitor 2 months before the appointment & they hadn't been able to review the results for the consultant for that.

it can take weeks or months to get cardiology results back. (Five months for an echo for me). Hopefully if there’s something urgent they’ll contact you sooner. I would phone the secretary every couple of weeks until you hear something.
