I have had a pacemaker fitted,I am currently waiting to go to st Bart’s for a bypass

So many of us have had Bypasses that use the Community it can feel a little daunting while you are waiting and I think the waiting is the worst bit

Hopefully you will get a date soon and you can ask any questions and come and talk with us and we will always try to help where we can x

Hello

I had 3 heart attacks very close together and after having a angiogram after the third heart attack they could see I needed it done as quick as possible

So I waited just about 4 months from been told

You can always phone up and ask if they have any idea how long it might be hopefully you will not have to wait to long x

I’ve been told 3 to 4 months the waiting is driving me mad not being able to work

Well the way things are 3 to 4 months is not long to wait

You are going to have to learn to distract yourself because even when you have had it done the recovery can be 3 months sometimes more but try and stay focused on it will be worth it x

I was in for 9 days but for some it may not be that long so hopefully you will get out sooner x
