You need to ask your GP or pharmacist. We on this forum are not qualified to give advice on medicines or treatment.
I hope you can find something that helps.
are you sure it’s not Gout , very painful, I suffered Gout with Apixaban and a EDOXOBAN , had a fight to go back on Warfarin , please yellow card your symptoms to help others.
I had Gout with Apixaban and EDOXOBAN
Speak to your GP. You should be able to use ibuprofen gel, or one of the other topical gels.

This is exactly the sort of question your local pharmacist likes to answer. Much better than an impossible to reach GP who are not always aware of the interaction of one drug on another
unfortunately you can’t take any anti inflammatories with edoxaban. You need to get checked out for gout as there are specific treatments. Plus - did this start before or after these meds?
I have absolutely zero knowledge on this-so this is a question really rather than a recommendation ..
Would turmeric and black pepper either in tablets or as food additive help in this instance and is there any reason that this could interact with any drug? Would a pharmacist know?
A while ago an NHS dietician recommended this for inflammation.
I also have OA on my big toe due to an injury long ago, I use a daily Glucosamine Sulphate 1500mg tablet to keep it successfully at bay.
just cocodinal. I know it’s a pain once your on blood thinners. As we age arthritis becomes a real pain
