Sorry to hear your post has been removed. The forum does not allow the interpretation of ECGs as it’s considered medical advice. I didn’t see the post, but I think it also depends on how you word it. If you are asking for a direct interpretation or explanation of an ECG, then it may get removed by the moderators, whether it was reported or not.

I hope you are keeping well and you were able to have the ECG reviewed by a health professional.

Merry Christmas to you too 🎄

I have just had the same done to me. I didn’t know the rules about ecg. Keep calm and carry on. I come on here less and less. Have a wonderful Christmas. Xxx

It's strange because a couple of ago I posted a kardia strip and Dr Dave saw it and said I should see my cardiologist long story short I had to have 2 stents I had no idea it had been outlawed to post an ECG and I'd never had a post deleted in all the years I've been on here thanks to the person who reported me I thought they were all nice people on here.Oh well live and learn

Merry Christmas from New Zealand

I always do my best to help people when l can. Sadly there are some very nasty people around as l have found out. I have come to the conclusion that this is not a very nice place to be anymore. Instead of reporting they could have told us privately through a message that ecg is not to be mentioned, but they preferred to be the low life that they are. I am not bothered anymore if l get struck off. The way this forum is at the moment, l am better off not coming on here. Take care. Happy Christmas to you too.

I didn't know it was not allowed I've seen many people post ecgs on here over the years this wasn't admin though it was reported by a member of our group I wonder who doesn't like me

Yes I’ve mentioned the ecg on my husbands watch numerous times as I was confused between pulse rate and ecg . Maybe the moderators can make it clear as to why not . Merry Xmas

Yes this is a medical forum and it should be ok to share ecgs along with anything else heart related, that's how it helps us know if we should bother our overworked doctors .

Admin should only delete arguments and constant covid references in my opinion.

Happy Christmas from New Zealand it's going to be a hot one for us this year

No, l didn’t know either and someone reported me and my post was deleted. It seems a very harsh way of informing someone and l will never understand the reason why we can’t speak about ECG., but can speak of other procedures. Where is the logic in that?

Yes I must admit it seems a bit strange

Ahhh sorry to hear that was unkind I didn't see a problem with your post? Hope your daughter is ok, have you checked with your gp to see if there's an issue with her ecg? X

Yes it was 0.6mV while normal is above 0.5mV as I posted in your deleted thread.

I am sorry that you had to find out about a rule in this way - i feel it is more helpful if people are given a proper explanation when their posts are deleted - this is more likely to help them avoid doing it again

are you sure that it was reported? it might have been spotted by a moderator and removed because of the infringement of the rules without being reported

fairgo45

No I was emailed by the moderator to say it had been reported to them by another member. Disappointed

So there is a Karin amongst us dictating what we can or cannot talk about. Strange why the moderators don’t censor her/him.

Hey … have you tried Reddit ? They actually have subs (groups) who have doctors and technicians and just other heart patients who will interpret your ecg. I can understand why it’s not allowed on here. But worth having Reddit.

Thanks but I've had it interpreted now

hi there, So sorry you didnt get to read any feedback re your ecg. Unfortunately free speech is being dumbd down everywhere these days. Big brother is in charge ! Hope you are well. Merry christmas and happy new year.

It didn't used to be like that even Dr Dave the Kardia inventor came on to occasionally interpret an ecgPC gone mad but yes Merry Christmas 🤶 to everyone on here and a great New year
