hi everyone

I’ve just started taking rosuvastatin and up to now I’ve had itchy left arm and slight nausea and headache , do these subside after a while ? Has anyone else had these side affects ??Enjoy the rest of your day 😃

I had an slight headache at first but gone now (took a paracetamol a few times then it disappeared). I hope yours will too.

Plus I had / have more vivid dreams, they seem to have normalised now - I just dream more & don't notice.

All the best

Hi BarbI was prescribed Rosuvastatin and had to come off it due to side effects and was out back on Atorvastatin with no side effects. I would definitely speak to your GP or cardiologist.

Hope you get sorted.

I was changed from troublesome atorvastatin to rosuvastatin. No side affects.

I'm on max dose Rosuvastatin. Occasionally I have nasty leg cramps but it's getting less and less. My skin is always itchy but I put that down to T2 diabetes and all the other many drugs I'm on for my heart issues. Touch wood, don't really suffer from headaches, only when the weather is thundery!Couldn't tolerate Atorvastatin, now they gave me side effects so I had to change. Persevere with your meds, over time things should improve.

It’s a relatively better tolerated statin and very good, however I suffered a lot of muscle pain due to it exacerbating my fibromyalgia. I now take Atorvastatin and I’m not too bad. Give it time and if things don’t settle speak with your GP.
