I was told to go about normal activity, so if that’s normal for you why not! Maybe log it in the book so even if you don’t click it they would know .

Yeah definitely! Go about your normal routine. I'm having my 48 hour holter monitor next Friday and I'm gona go to the gym next day.

Yes, you should be able to do all your normal activities. Just remember any excessive sweating continuously may cause it to peel off. Also, limit how much time you spend in the shower with it on. This was the advice given to me by my cardiologist.

Ask for some spare sticky pads aka electrodes, the cardiac nurse gave me a ton when I had my last 7 day holter, need to disconnect it when you shower though!

In my case it was a yes. I would check with your cardio team or GP. It may depend why you are wearing it.

Do you have to press any buttons when you put it on to activate it?

Hi, if it is an event monitor then you would have been told how to use it. You press it if you have an event. If it is an ordinary holter monitor then it continually monitors and records your heart. Take it off when bsthing or showering.

I did my local Parkrun wearing mine and was fine. Just don’t wear it in the shower though! Good luck.
