Hello and welcome to the forum! I use an Omron M3. Useful features are it stores your results so you can show your GP and their is a Guest option so you check another family member without messing up your own results. It uses an upper arm cuff. The wrist ones are best avoided.
Thanks for the reply.. Much appreciated
Omron M7
this model allows you to download your BP readings to the app onto your phone & also allows you to send the data what has been stored to your heart medical team .
Was around £60 from Amazon when I purchased this last year
Hi Amy thank you for your reply... Quick question can you run the M7 off a mains power supply... Thanks v
Hi
Yes it can via the 6vDC connection port or by inserting batteries. Hope this helps you further
AC ADAPTER-UK (60240H7000SW)
AC ADAPTER-S (60240HW5SW) 2 pin
Add my voice to the Omron chorus - accurate, very reliable and easy to use straight out of the box.
Bonus1: Boots can recalibrate quickly and the cost is quite reasonable (checks recommended every two years for most models).
Bonus2: taking the unit with you to the GP or consultant to make sure your's and their monitors agree usually results in the nurse/GP/consultant congratulating you for making a wise choice of home monitors.
ETA: be sure to check the cuff size - you may need to purchase a smaller or larger cuff size to ensure correct readings.
