14 day heart monitor preliminary findings…

Hi,

I have just got my 24 days heart monitor results.

Previously diagnosed with bradycardia but I had some doubts as a previous monitoring showed very low and very high readings, not just low for bradycardia.

The recent monitor (via NHS) shows more detail. Can anyone shed any light, as new to this.

Thanks

Hello :-)

Hope you got some answers from the professionals over your results

We are not really allowed to comment on peoples results as to why you may have not had any replies and I do not know what they mean anyway but ask your Consultant or Doctor if you have not found out already :-)

I hope you had a lovely Christmas :-) x

Thank you and belated Happy Christmas to you.

My holt was issued by nhs after around 10 months of my gp requesting via A&E.

I don’t even have a contact for the department dealing with my referral, absolutely crazy.

I am waiting for the results, as above, to get to my GP and see what happens from there. Tbh it’s the 39 bpm I find concerning as this was whilst I was asleep and very low.

Hello :-)

If you phoned the switched board up at the Hospital they may have an idea which department it is

In the meantime easier said than done but try not to worry and I hope you can get to speak with your Doctor soon to give you peace of mind :-) x

My resting HR while asleep is usually 35-45, and other than noting bradycardia and not prescribing beta-blockers for my AF, my cardiologist doesn’t seem concerned. So 39 in itself isn’t a problem, but your consultant will undoubtedly be able to tell you all you want to know. Make a list before your consultation!

To date I am not aware of any Consultant being allocated. 🙄
