Walked up Snowdon that is 😁EF of 36 doesn't mean I have to stay at home with my feet up. Tried to get up it for sunrise, but unfortunately there was cloud over the top so couldn't see far.
It was quite the challenge but taking it slowly with frequent stops made it possible 😁
Not for everyone, but mountains, like riding motorbikes heals my mind.
Love to all

Thank you for your uplifting post, I may never be able to achieve doing something like this ever again but I just love hearing from folks that can. You have made my morning.
Every time I've walked up that mountain it was always cloudy when I got to the top ( and I live near by so it was very often until recent heart issues) No matter whether it was a perfect clear day when I started , no matter what time of day it was. I've only seen the view from the top once , and that was when , I went with family and friends dressed as Vikings stayed over night then saw the sun come up on New Year's Day. Maybe I'm just unlucky but as I live in North Wales the saying is , " If you can't see the Mountain it's raining , if you can see it the rain is on its way!" So perhaps not ! 😆😆😆Well done though, the last bit is particularly steep , so that was one heck of challenge that you've ticked off. Followed by a bike ride down those lovely winding roads , no doubt.
That's a fantastic achievement, Sprinty - thank you so much for sharing it. It's really inspiring for people like me (trying hard not to be couch potato!) to read posts like yours. Carol
