Did she tell you how low is low. My resting rate is usually low to mid fifties, and sometimes drops into 40s. Are you on a beta blocker as this lowers pulse rate? Just don't Google nor worry about it!

Ni unfortunately she didn't yes I'm on a beta blocker according to my watch my heart rate go up and down like a yo yo but do have separate app on my phone and it's gone as low as 39bpm.

Hello :-)

I would have thought or at least hoped as she is a Nurse even though she made that comment if she was concerned she would have gone and spoken to a Doctor

Most of us do this we hear them say something don't ask should I be concerned and come home and then worry

Maybe next week you might be able to talk to the Doctor and ask them if you should be concerned by her comment

Let us know how you get on :-) x

Try not to worry but do speak to the GP about it alongside your blood test results.

Not seeing the doctor seeing the clinical pharmacist.

On several occasions I have consulted with the Clinical Pharmacist at the GP practice I am with. She has always been very knowledgeable and has got my medication fine tuned so my stats are near optimal for me. Recently I requested an additional medication to help with my Raynauds Syndrome and with her help this is now dovetailed into the mix - 7 pills and counting! I'm sure you will be able to sort out any issues and concerns that you have when you have your meeting.

I suggest you make a record of you pulse rate throught the day, say every half hour, together with what you were doing. Then you have some data to discuss with your nurse or GP. It may even set your mind at rest that there really is nothing to worry about.Keep cheerful

I think you are right. My mistake. I shall take down my post.

Having been diagnoised with brachycardia and having pacemakers implanted and removed (seromas? allergic) I watch my hr closely. I wore a zio monitor for 2 weeks. Results were in normal range. i am going to ask for a printout of results to compare to my fitbit tracker to see if tracker is accurate.

My hr can drop to 40s when sleeping and up to 120 while walking my big, fast dog.

My dr says its not so much the numbers, but how I feel.

Oddly enough without pacemaker and metroprolol? I feel better than i have in years.

Not what you're looking for?
