I have never smoked or drank, been through hell the last year, started getting chest pains when walking last July collapsed on my mountain bike. Got rushed to hospital had a angiogram said I had 3 blocked arteries need a triple bypass operation. Put on meds for Angina and a spray 7 times I was prepared to go in got cancelled 5 times no beds right at the last minute. 2 times I was actually prepared for surgery shaved and everything cancelled at the last minute and sent home nightmare. On the 8th time I had the operation which was for 8 hours due to a blood transfusion and complications this was this year in may it took 9mths to have the operation. Thank God for all the hospital staff luv them so much and thank God for pulling me through so if you are going through this DONT GIVE UP KEEP ON KEEPING ON. LUV AND RESPECT TO YOU ALL

Pleased that you have been successfully treated. Brighton hospital has a top notch cardiology department. I've had recent treatments there.

I cannot even imagine how you coped having your op cancelled so many times but so glad eventually you got to have it and you sound like you are doing really well

I agree for anyone struggling getting ops cancelled dont give up and I am so glad you stayed so strong and now things are looking up
