has anyone else developed brown marks on the face. Can it be one of the heart medications causing it?

Dear you,

Very interested at this post as I have similar marks on my face which I put it down to age.

But I have none on my hands and yes they have appeared since my heart happening.

Interesting,

Take care

Yeah I thought that's what they are, but I aint got any on my hands.

They are very small on my face and you would have to really like me to see them { no that aint an offer ! }

:) you’re lucky you say they are small mine are blossoming like flowers. None in the hands either. Very strange. So do you think it’s the heart meds.? I’m in Bisoprilol candesartan and esetimibe

Do you know I have no idea, but its down on the growing question pad ready for my next review

If you are concerned about your skin markings I suggest you talk to your local pharmacist, to find out whether this is could be considered to be a medication side effect.

I'll echo talking to a pharmacist to discuss if this is a known side effect

I have some brown marks on my face, high on the cheek, which were diagnosed a few years ago as Actinic keratoses (sun damage?). At the time I was given some cream which improved them but told to keep an eye on them as in rare cases they can develop into something more serious. They have got a bit bigger lately, and can be dry and sore, so have an appt booked in with one of the GPs who specialise with dermatological issues.Long winded way of saying probably a good idea to get them checked out.

thank you Hrty. It passed my mind it might be an idea to see a skin specialist. Just seemed odd that they have accelerated these last two years. I’ve had so many problems with Meds that I tend to blame them for all ills.
