Hi All, I'm one of those "Smart Watch" people, so please bare with me! 40 Year old Male,
Over the past few weeks I have been checking my sleeping heart rate after a comment from my surgeon. During a recent anaesthetic it was noted i had a very low heart rate. On average its between 30-35bpm. This is over a 6 hour period, where it does rise
Then I noticed my blood oxygen levels! This drops as low as 70% over night, but quite often below 85%
Currently awaiting 24hr ECG.

hi I don’t get low heart beat (58 lowest) at night but I tend to get low levels of blood oxygen - 80% lowest ranges between that and 95% but does go over 95% (not sure but could be higher when I wake up repeatedly in night). I too have a smart watch. I can get drops in day not regularly.
I discussed with GP and he didn’t hesitate to refer for sleep study albiet I have other risk factors than just heart issue and asthma.
The ECG should give you some answers. Meanwhile, is your watch positioned OK? It should be above your wrist and fitted snugly (but not too tight!)
You could splash out £20 or so on a heart rate chest strap which communicates with your watch. They're generally more accurate than the optical sensors on a watch. However, when I tried sleeping with one on, I found it too uncomfortable (it's a strap that I already had).
Your figures do seem really low, even for an athlete but I have no medical qualifications so what do I know.
Since you have an ECG arranged, I assume there's a doctor involved.
