Hello :-)

It could be bisoprolol that is making you feel so tired this is one of the side effects they can give you

I would make an appointment with your Doctor they can go through your meds and check you over maybe some blood tests as well to make sure one that you are not low in iron

Let us know how you get on :-) x

Bisoprolol absolutely floored me. Heart rate went into my boots and was completely cream crackered. I stopped that just over a month ago, after discussing it with my cardiologist, qnd have loads more oomph now I've got over the withdrawal from it. I'd make an appt with the GP to review meds and discuss the tiredness.

Dear Jessica

My doctors surgery has a dedicated person to review medication.

The local chemists also have someone to talk to. Possibly you could touch base with one of these people then move on to your GP if necessary.

Good luck

hi Jessica62. I’ve recently had my bisoprolol reduced from 7.5 to 5. And I feel much better. I know that often for 12 months after a cardiac event they want you on higher doses of drugs. But they subsequently can be reduced and some even stopped. If you’re still under a cardiologist contacting them might be a good idea.

Almost certainly the bisoprolol. There are alternatives!

I’m sorry to hear that you feel alone. Hopefully things will start to improve soon

Hi, it will no doubt be the Bisoprolol I was on 2.5mg daily but self-reduced to 1.25mg due to fatigue and particularly the cyclic no energy days Discussed after event with my Cardiologist who agreed. I feel so much better now. After heart surgery I had Clopidogrel for a while no tiredness from that

I'm on EXACTLY the same meds Jessica and I'm beyond tired - absolutely exhausted. Waiting for an MRI scan and the doctor won't change anything until I get the results of the scan. Have been waiting 7 months so far. Sue
