Yeah today was good did the 20 minutes on the bike then 20 on treadmill. During the workout on the bike I noticed again ( must just be normal) bit of chest discomfort and getting little out of breathe but it did pass and I feel great went up to level 4 on the bike and 15 miles an hour for the speed. Great on treadmill feel alot more confident now I think anxiety played a big part in how I was feeling to begin with, getting used to it now. Hope everyone is having a good day and keeping well ❀️

looks like your heading in the right direction good for you, I have gotten myself an E-bike it is really good, it gets me out in the fresh air, I have an exercise bike but it’s not the same as being outside, you will be doing a marathon before you know it well done.

Well done you.Don't forget to drink.x

Brilliant.

Are you increasing the speed and gradient on the treadmill too (at a comfortable rate might I add) also something which I only have just noticed is how whilst both the bike and the treadmill use your legs they both seem to use different muscles.

That's really good to know about the chest discomfort cause I was having some last night aswell must of pulled a muscle πŸ’ͺπŸ»πŸ˜…. This is my fourth time to the gym it will take a long time to get used to it I think.

Glad you are getting there. It is all a new experience. I ended up in a and e because of chest pains and I had been down gym the day before and pushed myself to level 12. On bike. I don't know what it was because the bloods came back OK according to the hospital. The ecg was the same as it always had been for me. The only thing she found was a possible lung infection which I have antibiotics for. I think half the battle with all this is the mental side. The trouble is the mind panics, which is natural but it does cause me to slow down a bit. I have had a cold and a cough so that does not help the muscles in the chest. I did find out from the gym before, I thought I was superman. Was to prepare for a stress test, to start at level 1 for 1 minute. Go to say level 6 or level 4 in your case for one minute. Back to level 1 for 1 minute. Do this for as long as you feel comfortable. I think the reasoning for this, is for the heart to go up and down in beats per minute. I suppose it's like reps for the heart. It is all a worry.
