When I first started a beta blocker, Atenolol, back in 2009 it caused significant hair loss. I remember seeing large amounts of tiny new hair follicles in my bath like tiny ants when I washed my hair. New growth hair which never recovered.

Been taking meds since 2014 perhaps recent trauma of a second heart attack hasn’t helped.

Dear Ethel14

Hello to you

I would imagine that all drugs could affect the hair { good or bad } as they can tell by a hair sample what drugs are in your body { all very Miss Marple }

Unfortunately its will be harder to tie down which one as most have that effect by the dreaded folded paper that comes free in the tablet box.

Your Pharmacist maybe able to help you.

Take care
