Just a question. If i take bisoprolol or any other med for that matter. How long does it take to be absorbed fully? I have a sickness bug and wonder would I need to take another tablet if I were to vomit within a certain amount of time after taking the tablet.

It varies by medication and the specific formulation, but an educated guess would be that it would be largely absorbed within an hour and pretty much completely absorbed within 2.

I was told by my Dr that its hard to OD on Bisopronol as you can take up to 10mg over a 24h period. I take 1.25mg per day. When I have an irregular heartbeat and high bpm (over 140bpm) for a couple of hours I take one or two more and I usually revert within an hour or so.You need to discuss this with your Dr to see if the same is true for you.
