Hi all

I had my AVR done in May this year, initially I had issues with heart rate jumping around 147. My medications were Bisoprolol 7.5 mg along with standard water tablets and blood thinners.

Couple of months after the procedure I had to go A&E for this heart rate procedure but I was either given digoxin or they topped up Bisoprolol medication. I still had issues with dizziness and high heart rate.

After my consultation with the cardiologist they changed my medication to AdiEm XL 300. I am feeling much better but still have occasional high heat rate at times I get dizziness but generally ok.

My heart failure nurse had contacted by cardiologist team with regards to this and are thinking about doing ablation procedure.

Has anyone been through the same situation and do you think ablation procedure is a good idea.

Appreciate your responses.

Regards
