Twelve months later chest psins started again.Waited 15 months for yesterdays angiogram and found one of the grafts has failed and another artery blocked.
Devastated!
Now face procedure which could take up to 3 hours, to unblock the graft.
Told this will not make me live any longer but will improve my quality if life.
Not looking for sympathy just seeing if anyone else has had this.
I am a 70 year old female who does have a fairly healthy lifestyle.
Thank you
Jill

I’m so sorry to hear this. Hope you don’t wait too long for your procedure.
I had a triple heart bypass in May 2021 and still get twinges. I’m thinking it’s the grafts still healing. Hope so as I’m travelling to Australia next week. 🤞
Thank you for your reply. Please consider getting checked after you've been to Australia, I never even thought it could be the graft that had failed, just thought it was another artery blocked ( which it is as well). Have a fabulous time and I really hope all is okay for you
Thanks Jill. I too have never considered it. I’m keeping a journal while I’m away so will note how my heart is feeling in that which will act as a reference.
I’m 70 next year so this is an early celebration visit for my friend and I.
Hope you have a wonderful time and when you come back find everything okay

Hi jwd52, am really sorry to hear about the position you're in and I really hope your procedure goes well.
I also had a bypass in 2020 and found out earlier this year one of my grafts has failed following chest pains that lead to a CT scan. Am now waiting for a cardio MRI scan to see if I need any further treatment but I don't feel great and am having lots of issues with my blood pressure.
Hope things go well for both of us and vest of luck.
