Bisoprolol
I am sure I had a 7.5 tablet at one time. But I am sure your GP will provide the relevant prescription for more 2.5s if this is an ongoing problem.
the monthly limit should be a total of 28x7.5. So you should be able to receive a monthly supply in one hit.
I am sure the chemist will be able to sort you out.

I got 56 X 7.5mg last week with no problem, only thing which sometimes I can't get on the day are Entresto but normally get them within 2 days !!!

Hello
We have been having similar problems with our chemist to I am not sure why this is happening when we have asked they have just said they cannot get hold of them
It is a nuisance I know only other suggestion would to see if another chemist stocked the but I presume you are using one nearby and may be another issue swapping
But you are not alone with this x
no problem near me but dr will amend prescription for daily amount to be taken and pharmacist should work it out.
Your chemist should supply the equivalent of what is prescribed. As they have no 5mg tablets, they should supply double the number of 2.5mg, so you shoukd end up with a total of 84 tablets (28 + 56).
The problem I have had is getting prescribed medication as I am on minimum doses. They are reluctant to supply half the quantity of the next dose up for me to cut in half.
Unfortunately a pharmacist is only able to dispense exactly what is written on the prescription, even if a suggested alternative seems logical. If the GP puts a weekly/monthly total, then it can be made up anyway, if particular dosages are specified, those instructions must be followed. The pharmacist, of course, can ring the GP for advice and further instructions, which could result in a new prescription being sent over.
I recently had a lot of problems getting my oxycodone andthere's no alterntaive as I'm allergic to other brands. Luckily I had a week's worth in hand and they got more in just in time. I rang round every chemist in town t o try to find somewhere with stock. Might be worth a try. GP may have t o do a separate script if it's done electronically. Try the bigger chemists who have space for extra stock and the supermarkets.
I am on 7.5m mg Bisoprolol and have been since last Cardiologist consult last Christmas, i have no problems with availability.
I take 2x5mg per day so get 56 per month on my repeat prescription. No problem with last issue but due again at begining of next month. Will query availability when I drop 'scrip off at chemist. Thanks for the heads up.
Try and register with one of the online pharmacies, such as pharmacy2u. Not only do they carry a larger stock, they post it in your door, for free! I can't remember the last time I went to get a prescription.
