Hello Poppy :-)

This is such a tricky one because anxiety can mimic heart conditions and vice versa

It sometimes can be psychological that when we take something if we feel it is our heart that we feel better to

Having said all that they are the experts and they are saying anxiety but you know I would start asking for a second opinion now if you have not already

I am no expert with Angina I know someone on here who often replies to you that is and I hope they will come along soon see your post and give you their wonderful words of wisdom and advice :-)

Hope you are feeling a little better now :-) x

hi when that happened to me it was due to low blood pressure after taking medication, not drinking enough fluis and over heating on hot days .

Probably not. Similar in that I had weeks of pain but GP prescribed Ranolaxine and that totally solved it. GTN used to relieve it , but only temporarily. Consultant said unikely to be angina but it worked in any case. I now only get very slight but co-codamol helps that when needed....

My mother in law started having blackouts, mostly in dangerous places, once crossing the road, once coming downstairs. When someone found her in the road, she was finally taken to hospital where they took her off all her tablets . It was found she'd been treated for high BP for years when she didn't have it t all so her BP was dropping far too low causing the blackouts. GP must have seen one high reading in surgery and put her straight on tablets. IT may be worth having your medication re assessed.
