Hi - I was diagnosed with AF a few months back and was prescribed the usual drugs - Bisoprolol 2.5mg and Apixaban. Had horrendous reaction immediately to the apixaban - skin rash over all the body and terrible itching. After just 2 days was changed to Rivoraxaban which was almost as bad. That was changed after just another day and I've ended up on Warfarin which I seem to be OK with. However I still have a very itchy and scaly scalp and it feels like it has been sunburnt - I suspect the Apixaban is having some longer term effect and has triggered something in me that is taking time to settle down.
