Famatodine and insomnia

Hi,I have recently been prescribed famatodine to go with my rabeprazole which I take in the morning but since been on famatodine I can't sleep feel more tired and got weaker, which I have noticed when doing some weight training, I stopped famatodine 2 days ago to see how I get on,anyone else find the same. Thanks.

Hi, I take Famotidine, I find it’s far more effective for indigestion and heartburn than PPI’s. I don’t think it disturbs my sleep but there again I’ve not slept a whole night without needing the loo since my HA in 2019, the meds do this. I do get tired easily but there again I am 75 with other serious health problems and as my Cardiologist said, I’ve survived a Massive HA with less than 5% survival chance so it’s not surprising.I do split the dose of Famotidine, half in the morning, half at night which seems to level things out. Good Luck, it’s a journey of exploration with the meds.
