Insomnia

I see numerous posts about side effects from a variety of meds, I find it difficult to tell whether any of my problems are due to my meds without stopping them for a while, which I wouldn’t do without guidance from a medic, such as I had regarding Spironolactone. I am due to see my consultant some time, but the wait goes on and on.

The problem I am dealing with at the moment is severe Insomnia. I do wonder if Entresto (medium strength) might be a cause. Particularly as I take one just before going to bed.

Anyone have this problem?

a chat with a pharmacist might help you. Your own surgery may have a part-time pharmacist attached to the surgery and he or she might be able to guide you.

Hi. It may be the combination of meds that cause sleeplessness. My Cardiologist says that as you age sleeplessness may creep in. He told me to start taking Melatonin but not a sleeping pill such as Ambien which is addictive. Check with your doctor of course. It helps me sleep. I take it every other night sometimes less sometimes more. All the best.
