Amlodopine

Although every one is different Id like to share my experience with amlodopine, which I take daily along with 2 other drugs for the last 18 years......it helps to maintain very good BP after a 10 year battle from 23 years old with hypertension and no known source.....

no problem with amlodopine that I could identify......I say test over time with results and speak your concerns to your GP....

Hello and welcome to the forum!

I was on Amlodipine for a while. Whilst it controlled BP well I suffered with oedema with it. Another CCI (Calcium Channel Inhibitor) didn't cause any issues but had minimal effect on BP. As you say we are all different.

I also had permanent Fankles ! ’ on amlodipine !

I assume you mean fat ankles as fankle is the Scot's for tangled...

Fankles is Essex description for fat ankles !

Seems the fat ankles or 'fankles' is common.....but I prefer this to the high bp.....disappears every morning...
