hi, my HA and stents were 15 months ago. I've had on and off pains in the chest area and gone back to A&E about 5 or 6 times in that time, each time the blood tests showed no cardiac issue, so what is it? I've tried everything so my GP has sent me for more tests including gastroscopy next week. Recently though it felt like the chest pain had radiated to neck and shoulder, which worried me so got it checked out at A&E, again no cardiac issue. however it's two weeks on and it's agony, my upper left arm feels like a dead weigh, so uncomfortable! I had some physio which has helped the neck and shoulder but not the arm. so frustrated... any ideas or is it simply unrelated and one of those things? it came on gradually rather than picking something up or sleeping in a funny position one night. it's weird, and painful! Any ideas??

Similar to my problems. It's difficult to differentiate these pains from other causes. The cardiologist thought it might be microvascular angina because there was no sign of blocked main coronary arteries in an angiogram. He recommended Ranolazine as an anti anginal. I can't take nitrate pills because it lowers my BP too much. So unless you can find a cardiologist to diagnose microvascular angina (or not) it's a bit hit and miss.
I've posted about this before but may be appropriate. I had HA plus stent nearly 3 years ago and had a painful left shoulder which caused a couple of embarrassing trips to a&e before it was diagnosed as frozen shoulder! Just another possibility?
I had the opposite problem of symptoms of my HF being diagnosed as due to the RSI I got in both shoulders due to excessive computer use during the pandemic. It was only when I was taken to hospital after a heart-attack that they started looking at my heart. Still makes it hard to determine the true cause of any chest or arm pains
Just don't forget there are lot so f physical problems that can affect your arms and neck. It doesn't have to be heart although never rule it out. I have a herniated disc in my neck that causes the exact same symptoms. I can never tell if my pain's coming from heart or neck. It's easy to forget other possibilities when we focus on one thing. Maybe an MRI scan or x ray of your neck or shoulder looking for something that could indicate a trapped nerve?
I also keep having left shoulder and Arm aches, and this happens specially when I'm getting tired, which is often. I don't know whether the meds I take makes me tired, but I had so many different Meds since I was diagnosed with LBB, and nothing seemed to agree with me, they were always too strong for me, used to feel tired, dizzy and lethargic. I now take Nebivolol, Apixaban, and atorvastatin. One day I woke up with a Heavy achey Left Arm, Went to A&E, was told it was a Minor Stroke, TIA. Since then I have had these aches and my Left Leg gets affected also. GP takes no notice. Perhaps it's my age!!??
