Pain in left arm after stent

I had stent last week, but get pain in left arm and shoulder which gies and come. Today i walked for 10 minutes and thre was heaviness on left arm. Any one observed similar symptoms?

Did they stent through this arm? Maybe it needs time to recover.

Through Right arm. Problem is that it goes and come..

I had the same happen to me after heart attack I had 3 stents. I did see my consultant and he said not to worry. If I remember rightly he said it was bruised nerves. It will pass.

yes it did. It took about 2 weeks. Once I knew that it was normal I was able to relax. This is just my experience if you are worried I would speak to your GP. I hope you feel better soon.

It's all totally normal. I still experience it six months down the line.

I had a HA and stent 1 week ago and my left arm isfeeling exactly the same, so glad for this forum and to know its normal.

My post stent experiences were relatively pain free! Then several weeks later I had the most painful experiences along both arms, since both arms were used in the angioplasy in my case.

This lasted for a whole week and I thought of it as a delayed side effect from the stents procedure. It did settle down, but from time to time my arms start aching, depending on how much stressful work I do.

The reaction to stent procedures seems to vary from individual to individual.
