After being refused by other holiday insurance companies, I have found a truly first class one, kind and helpful unlike the others, so if you need travel insurance try these first AllClear 0800 6404829 - you won’t be disappointed 😀

Thanks. Looking at insurance for the first time since heart attack and Saga just quoted me £1000 for two weeks in the USA. That's enough to bring on another one. 😣

I went to USA 6 months after my ha found staysure were good

They fall over themselves to sell you the policy, but have you made a claim yet? That's a different matter.

Yes, All Clear is regularly recommended in this forum and I have had cover from them. I don’t personally know how good they are when it comes to a claim but it’s a good point.

They have a Facebook page, and the posts on there are very telling. I used them because my usual cover went up dramatically, but unfortunately had to make a claim. That's when the good customer service stopped. Staysure may be more expensive, but at least they pay up, in my experience.

Interesting. I keep a list of all the insurance companies mentioned re travel insurance for people with health issues. Before we travel my wife does the necessary due diligence. She’s very thorough but I’ll ask next time if she searches Facebook. Good tip, thanks.

Have you discovered Staysure ? They are much cheaper and do the same job as the rest. High count on Trustpilot also

All clear very expensive for annual insurance.Staysure 380 for me & hubby. All clear £730 for me alone without cancellation cover. But they do 45 days per trip as standard.

Staysure gave me a quote and offered annual cover for extra £40..Never thought about it before but worth getting annual cover... Especially if you like your holibobs 🤔😊

Had really bad experience with Staysure and would never insure with them again. Cruise was cancelled because of Covid in May 2020 - their website said insurance cover paid for could be used on another holiday - unfortunately I did not take a copy of that promise- when I asked later in the year for the cover owed they had removed that statement from their website and were less than helpful and unwilling to transfer cover paid - asked me if I had a copy of that advice which had been removed which I hadn’t- I had spent so much time trying to actually get speaking to someone that I just gave up and lost my money. Would definitely never consider them again - great service if you are buying but a different matter if claiming. Also advertise that they are giving 25% discount but that is only off the very basic premium price - nothing off any of the extras which you need so really minimal discount and very misleading. Also Trustpilot reviews appear to be only on the service you get when buying not claiming
