Thank you and Fatigue

Hi everyone, just to say thank you for all your helpful replies about finding a counsellor. I am due to speak with someone early next week, so thank you I am very grateful. A quick question, I am 10 weeks post bypass surgery with a few set backs with chronic nausea and a kidney infection. Which thankfully are better. However I am still very tired a lot of the time. Is this normal please? Thank you again, Judi

Well done for the counselling. Being knackered all of the time is very much part of it all. Your body has been through a major shock and is recovering. I'm in the same boat after my 2nd heart attack, and I'm still surprised by it 😁. Keep smiling 👍

Hello Snoweybm, thanks for replying. I think I just expect to recover more quickly I guess I am finding it difficult to adjust. Also the meds have played havoc causing chronic nausea so it is trial and error with finding what works best. I am so sorry about your 2nd heart attack, I do hope you are doing okay. Take care and thank you again. Judi

Both heart attacks have turned into really positive things. It's all just down to acceptance of the cards you're dealt and playing them accordingly x. 😉

That’s really good you are getting some counselling help. But it’s early days, as Snoweybm says. Take it steady and build up slowly. You’ll get there!

Hi heyjude. I have found that mental health issues can cause as much tiredness as physical ones. As others have said it is still early days for you, so be kind to yourself and good luck with the counselling. X

Hi, I am sure you are right Nettekin, the mind can play funny games and not always helpful. Thank you for taking the time to reply, Judi

Dear Heyjude31

So pleased that you have a councillor, a first and very big step to getting well. The tiredness is like your other answers have said, it’s a time thing and it will get better and it will pass.

Good luck with everything
