Best Birthday Present- hopefully!!

It’s my birthday tomorrow and the hospital have phoned with a new date. I go into Papworth on Thursday 16th September for my new mechanical Aortic valve. Fingers crossed they don’t cancel this time.

Thank you for all the advice and support. It has been such a help for my family and I.

Dear bjHad to say hello as my birthday is tomorrow.

This waiting is the worst bit. Very pleasing that you have an imminent date. I had mine done 1st May 2020. I found the procedure much nicer than other medical treatments, if the word nicer can be applied to a major surgery.
