Weak pulse

I have been noticing when I feel my pulse of late, it feels weak, it's really hard to find it. Whether in my wrists or neck. And I have been using a pulse oximeter and the pleth is hardly reading at all. It goes between zero and two maximum bars. My oxygen saturation is showing normal and my heart rate is between about 80 & 125 yet it just doesn't hardly show the strength of the beat and as I say I can hardly feel it myself and I am used to feeling for my own pulse, so it's not like I don't know how to.

Thing is I have been very deconditioned, not able to exercise a lot, due to my illness (ehlers danlos syndrome type 3, hypermobility type) and I was wondering could that be it? Or could there be something else do you think?

Dr doesn't wanna do an ECG but send me for a blood test for my thyroid. Which I frankly Don't want to do as being so weak and Ill blood tests leave me horrifically Ill afterwards.

Has anyone else here got a weak pulse and if so, does it ever get harder or stronger when you move about.. say go up and down the stairs or exercise. Or does it stay weak all the time?

Mine does get stronger when I go up and down the stairs etc.. so idk..

idk what to think. It's just concerning because I just lost mum two years ago and she had heart trouble that was undiagnosed.

I have a weak pulse sometimes … but all my tests have always been fine so I don’t I don’t know .. a ecg is such a simple test, your doctor must not be too concerned if he or she is unwilling to do one.. BUT go with your gut instinct.. you know your body better than anyone so if you feel something isn’t right push a little for testing 💛

It's easier said than done with our drs to push for testing they're super resistant.

I’m sorry, yeah I don’t know how it works in other countries.. In America we can just say heat I want this test and 99% of the time they will order it
