Can anyone recommend a good insurance company for travel insurance?
I have just been quoted £660 for a single trip!

Have a look at Staysure, I've got an annual wordwide policy (excluding the US, Caribbean) which costs me £370 per year.
Thanks. I need cover for the US.
Thank you
Look really carefully at their Covid clause. My son, 26, bought a policy last Sunday night as he thought their Covid clauses would match the wording on the Staysure website.
When he read it, there was an issue and he cancelled and bought another one.
He wasn’t buying it as he has any pre existing condition just because he thought it would do the job.
I’ll ask him which one he bought in the end.
I myself have Staysure but not used it in a while….
I have found medicaltravelcompared.co.uk/ to be very helpful - it is a comparison site but it gives you an idea of likely costs and doesn't need too much information to get quotes.
A good question. I find the insurance can nearly cost the same as the holiday. Have you tried Avanti.
I went through Nationwide who I bank with and paid for upgrade to cover heart condition and it was a great deal cheaper
Hi,l have Barclays worldwide travel insurance and pay £12-50 per month and have done for a long time. They were great 3 years ago when we had to cancel a holiday due to my partners health. We have been up front with all of our medical conditions and they have accepted all of these.
Holiday Safe were good about 2yrs ago for a long haul holiday after a double heart by-pass 10 yrs ago. USA Is always expensive for insurance and then came COVID !
