It is a while since we have had a virtual event which many have said they found beneficial. I was thinking of having a virtual Coffee Morning today but where I am had an activity planned for this afternoon is now this morning.
Would anybody be interested in a virtual Coffee Morning sometime in June?
And I recommend giving up the backless slippers in the kitchen. And the hallway, and the living room - it took me three years of PT to be able to lift my dominant arm over my head after tripping over a scatter rug in the front hall...oh. Also recommend giving up scatter rugs.
Oh poor you😕, good advice , my partner asked when I was on the floor if it was time I went in a home 😂, I will kill him later Lol, thank you for the hug, glad you’re feeling better xx
Oh ouch to you too, hope you’re ok now, I had washed my Door mat, came in from a freshly hosed patio, wet bare feet, no mat 🤦♀️, trying to do everything now because I have energy today, never a good look being on the floor lol xx
How are you? Hope things have improved for you and your getting back on track.
The weather is very warm with us, did the ironing this morning before it got to hot! Vegepod is doing well, the sunshine as brought everything on, have the first truss of tomato’s and the first tiny chilli forming. John is really enjoying being able to get to the veg!
Naughty as ever but I`ll be joining you xxxWill be bringing low cal tonic and some olives or it`s the time of year for aperol spritz just for starters then bring on the big guns!!!
I've never been to the lakes, nearly did once but had to cancel for health reasons ....one day maybe. And can I say an early happy special birthday to you.
Mine official one is the 4th as my biological one gets messed up by Christmas. Going out for a meal on a lovely summer's evening is so much better than mixing it with Christmas do's! 🎄🎅🍰
Mr.Grumpy,it`s still very nice and lucky you to have spent your birthday in Italy. It`s my birthday soon and I shall be spending it in the garden, weather permitting, dreaming of sitting beside an Italian lake.❤️😜
That made me smile, we were in Italy and thought it looked amazing on a scorching day, we waited on the waiter the anticipation high, until we tasted it 🤭what a disappointment, medicine sprung to mind, yet my pal loves it, cheers peeps char
So pleased to hear your doing better, do think of you often.Paul as booked a ticket to fly up from the South Coast 2 weeks Thursday, as long as we have no more set backs! It will be so lovely to see him face to face.
Good news about my nephew the cancer hasn’t spread though he still has to have radiation treatment, they don’t want him to start for 2 weeks but Chris being Chris says he as his own surgical list and can’t let his patients down, so is pushing to start earlier! His Dad is tearing his hair out if he had any !
How wonderful to have the visit with your son to look forward to - great big (careful) hugs definitely in order
Good to hear your nephew's cancer hasn't spread and as the widow of a surgeon I can relate to his feeling he needs to move the radiation along so he can get back to his patients - my late husband was the same sort of 'patients first' surgeon. My now husband has been through chemo and radiation three times and he says the radiation is 'not pleasant' but it does work - all the best to your nephew going forward (and I feel for his Dad, it's soooo hard to feel on the sidelines unable to do anything to help!).
Oh boy, that's not going to be pleasant at all! He needs to ask for the silver cream prescription (works wonders on the burns) before his first round so he'll have it to hand. He probably knows this already but a reminder never hurts.
My now husband got the sped-up version the third time around and the burns were horribly painful but he got through it and 10+years on the worst lingering effect is he can't tolerate direct sunlight on his arms and legs. Worth it, so so so worth it for him to have to use super sun block and long sleeves and trouser legs. So so so so worth it!
