Instead of my annual face to face cardiac nurse review, this year it was by telephone. That was fine, although I would have preferred Zoom. I was asked to attend a surgery for a blood test, which I did, but I have heard no more. As we have been asked not to trouble the GP surgery except where really necessary, I have not liked to phone them. Not that I am anxious, as I control my cardiac risk (and keep my BMI low) through a low sugar and high fibre diet.

Annual Cardiac Review
You should call them and ask for the results.
We have been told not to pester doctors about Covid vaccinations, but asking for results from blood tests seems more than reasonable - please do call them.
Hi there - I know the feeling, I was newly diagnosed last October, take anti-coagulants, never had a review so far, even though I believe NICE guidelines are every 3 months or so. I have asked for one, to no avail.Good luck with yours.
Hi i had a heart attack last September and my cardio nurse chased up my follow up appointment with the cardio consultant several times. I finally had one a couple of weeks ago by phone. I was told to go to see my gp as i wasnt happy with the statins i was on which were causing me muscle pains. no tests could be done. I had to call my cardio nurse to find out what happens after a year ie do i carry on taking the tablets and was left still wondering what happens.
You really do need to find out the results of the blood test.Likely result is that it was OK. They would contact you if not OK. But slips do happen
Just phone the doctors about the results, they will not mind at all, it will put your mind at ease, or call the cardiac team who sent you for the test
I’ve never had an annual cardiac review should I of had one?
