Hi all for the people who were asking I just finished my first cardiac rehabilitation class at the gym and it was fantastic πŸ’ͺ Great to meet people of all ages in the same position as myself some with and without full surgery but the class was brilliantly run. Looking forward to next week already πŸ˜ƒ

Thanks Nathan the last couple of months have been a struggle at times but today seems like a turning point and it's with the help of sites like this that help and support that helped fuel my determination and can't thank people enough πŸ™‚

Hi Markyboy,

Pleased to hear that you have attended, and enjoyed, your first rehab class. I finished my course a few weeks back. As you say, it is good to be with others who have had similar experiences, and to compare notes! The course has also given me the confidence to get back to a normal routine, well near normal! Good luck with the remaining classes, I hope all goes well.

Keith.

Great! Well done! I finished my programme last week and found it really useful - not just for the exercise but for the confidence it gave me in "working" my new valve. Hope the rest of it goes well for you and you continue to recover! Nic x
