Heart Issues at Rest?

Just wondering if anyone has had similar issues?. I am getting chest discomfort not pain at some points during the day at total rest ie sat on the sofa yet I can walk 7 miles or more up major hills and at a brisk pace. I had a heart attack in 2001 and 2 stents in 2018. Diagnosed with modetate to severe calcified disease. I have spoken to cardiologist who got me to wear a 14 day Rio Patch which flagged up a few very short heat VT's. I am planned in for a CT MRi scan just as soon as the covid rate drops. So the question is can this happen and be heart related or is it something else??. Thanks in advance .

Hi dazzler, I can relate a little, suprisingly I to get symptoms when I'm at rest, lately what happens to me is I get shortness Of breath without doing any activitie, I cud be just standing and feel out. Of breath. Maybe you should talk to your GP of your concern and see what he suggests.

Hi page12,Thanks for reply. I dont appear breathless just chest discomfort and feel a little nauseas. This can wake me at night also. I may speak to my GP although very difficult to get hold of. My Cardiologist wants me to go for an MRI although this has been delayed. Best of luck with your issues and thanks again.

Me as well i have hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and scarring of the aortic valve ecg is abnormal when at rest, going for a toe and scan at John RATCLIFFE next month

Hi wbiC,Many thanks for your reply. Very interesting, I seem to be at my worst when sat either with legs up or down indeed sometimes the horrible "sensation" wakes me at night!. I did have a H.A. years ago and have a couple of stents. As far as I know my Heart is not weakened although I am waiting for a CT MRI. Thanks again.
