I remember reading a while back about magnesium tablets but can’t remember which type is best for Cardiac symptoms. As a lot of people on here I have ectopic beats, a lot of ectopic beats and can’t take too much Bisoprolol because it drops my heart rate and BP too low so 2.5mg is my max dose. So I thought I would give magnesium ago to see if it can help. X

The key is solubility. Magnesium oxide is not very soluble. I use Magnesium Citrate, 200 mg tablets x 2 a day. I think it's working ok for me. Needs a few weeks or months to see the effect.
Even 1.25 mg of Bisoprolol slowed my heart so much that it worsened my ectopics, I'm now off it.
Those with a naturally slower heart rate, or slow due to meds, can tend to get more ectopics. It's because the gap between refractory periods of the heart muscle beat-to-beat increases significantly giving ectopic foci a greater chance of firing when the muscle can be stimulated.
I thought I remembered magnesium Taurate but maybe it was citrate. Willing to try anything as it’s been a very annoying 10 mths with these little buggers.
I've thought about taking magnesium for my fibromyalgia for a few years b ut never did anything about it. People with Fibro are usually low in magnesium. When I had stomach pain from meds I used to take magnesium trisilicate mixture. It was the only thing that would ease the pain. Every chemist sold it and it was very cheap but when I searched for some they have stopped stocking it and no one can give me a reason. You can g et it online but it's difficult because once opened it has to be used within 21 days. I Once bought 4 bottles and found they had a really short sell by date. However when I did take it my fibro pain was greatly reduced. Does anyone know exactly what it does?
