Getting off blood thinner/ Birlanta 90m 2x daily

A year after my HT, and one stent in the LDA. I’m getting off my blood thinner meds since the recommendation were proscribed for a year post a medication alluding stent placement. Has anyone stopped their blood thinner meds , and if so did you have any issues ? Thank you in advance fir your comments. S

I started lowering my clopidogrel dose after 3 months and completely stopped at 6 months. The medical advice was to continue it for the full 12 months.

I'd had chest pain every day since my stent was put in, but about 6 weeks after stopping the clopidogrel the chest pain went, along with other side effects. I'm still taking the aspirin. I wouldn't recommend changing your meds without speaking to a professional, but ultimately you have to take the decisions that you believe are best for you.

Thank you... it was advised by my cardiologist (well they prefer we stay on meds for life) but I do appreciate your response & very glad to hear it can be done. Happy Holidays 🙏🏼
