Hello, depending on your physical condition, dangerous, I would not say it is low, yes, when I was taking bisoprolol 2.5 at rest I had 58 to 63 pulses and during the day I took 75 to 85 pulses in the morning, but as I said, age also plays a role. you are active and everyone's physical condition if it does not cause you problems you do not need to worry but for sure ask the doctor or pharmacist

I am on 1,25mg Bisoprolol and my resting heart rate is the same as yours, sometimes lower. As long as you feel fine and are active it is normal.

Hi- I had the same experience with bisoprolol & ended up having my dose decreased. It’s more about how you are feeling - I felt like a zombie so knew the dose was not suiting me. My heart rate is in the 50’s now & I feel fine.

That is higher than mine, which drops into the high 30s/40 at night. Day time it changes with activity level but roughly the same as yours. It is not a problem unless you are experiencing other symptoms.

Jakerman its perfectly fine till you are feeling ok. Every one is different but if its really worrying you you change to nebivolol after consulting your physician. I am also on 2.5 Nebivolol its almost same aa you medicine. My heart rate also varies from 59 to 90 throughout day. Relax and you will be fine

I'm on 1.25mg Bisoprolol and have similar figures. Of an evening when I am relaxing my HR can get down into the 40s so I have to be careful when getting up from a seated position. I was on 2.5mg and had more severe symptoms, so a lower dose was agreed with the pharmacist at my GP practice.

That heart rate is fine. Dont worry. Im on exactly the same and average 45 bpm. It was a shock at first.

I'm amazed people can manage with such low rates 😳 strange how we are all so different, I had severe symptoms if I went below 60 and I would definitely be unconscious with a rate of 45 ! Thank heavens I now have a pacemaker so can't go lower than 63 bpm.

Hi, I agree with others here, I was on 2.5 initially & felt terrible (spaced out & generally unwell, I had it reduced to 1.25 & now feel fine but my hr averages low 40s when I reported this the fact that I had no other symptoms, the consultant wasn't worried. Hope that helps?
