Hi I recently had an angioplasty on my right artery in last month.. I was diognosed with stable angina ( altho it happens whilst resting and sleeping) I am currently experiencing pain in my left arm, of I left my arm it's quite painful, and resting my arm it aches.. Is this normal?

Hi there - when you had the angioplasty, did the cardiologist gain access to your heart via the artery in your left arm? Was your left arm artery the entry point for the angio procedure because it does hurt mildly for a few days if that was used as the entry point and takes some time to heal after the wires for angio were pushed through that arm's artery.

And did the cardiologist also insert a stent during the angioplasty, or just balloon-stretching only?

Hi - I had stent in 2016 in my right coronary artery and I still get pain in my left arm but suffer from coronary artery spasms and this seems to be a recognised symptom. I can even get an aching arm whilst using the phone.
